Tell the truth.
Get in your body. Learn to feel safe & at home inside of your body.
Be easy. Go slowly. Time takes time.
Drink water.
Eat foods that agree with your body.
Find support (12 step group, therapist, women’s group). This will help you practice being honest without negative repercussions.
If the concept of home has a negative association, over time you’ll get to rewrite home to mean something new and peaceful. I found myself often saying omg this feels like home and that actually meant it felt like abandonment.
