Meet Lalita Gabriella
I'm a storyteller at heart — driven by depth, laughter, and joyful connection to what matters.
From the time I was just a tater tot, I was dreaming, imagining, connecting the dots that nobody else yet saw — clouds in the sky became adventures awaiting a narrator. That never stopped. It just found new rooms — two TEDx stages, a diplomatic post in Rome, Seth Godin's publishing house, Lyft's early growth team, work featured in Forbes, PBS, and more, reaching millions of readers, and now the mental healthcare space, where story isn't just strategy. It's medicine.
X-ray vision for story means I can see the bones, the meat, the very beating heart of why something matters and why anyone should care.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
I've shaped narratives for NYT bestselling authors (and more) that ended up on MasterClass, the BBC, and Essence. Built the story behind Lyft's Ambassador Program and their first Passenger Loyalty Program. Written pitches that turned into $1.5M+ in revenue. Won Best Presenter at a CuraLinc-wide kickoff and secured funding for a concept now becoming a scalable product.
Fifteen years. Multiple industries. One through line.
I write, direct, and perform, with a soft spot for animation. Worlds built across "Lila the podcast," "Ask Juanita" the YouTube series, sketch comedy, songwriting, poetry, and thousands of meanderings seen on my blog, Forbes, PBS, and Comedy Bar (Toronto). Proud member of Women in Animation and Lino DiSalvo's ODAD. Music speaks to me in prose. Characters who've only ever lived in dreamland find their way onto the page.
Pen in hand. Future wide open.
