Sensitive ‘outsiders’ with a purpose: you’re my people.
[Feeling like an outsider is an invitation to create and define your world on your terms.]
I’ve felt like I’m on the outside and on the other side of the tracks of most people, places and things in my life.
I never felt like I fit in anywhere.
Today, I know I belong and I create my reality.
It was once when a mentor said to me, “You’re always chosen because you’re different. It’s never because you’re like everyone else,” that my concept of being chosen and accepted changed.
It was then I realized that my #sparkle factor, my fierceness for listening to my heart and going FULL ON GORG in all I do is why people choose to be in my life.
That I was honest and sincere.
I wasn’t an outsider because I was doing anything wrong. I simply hadn’t owned my uniqueness and rooted to invite others to join me where I was at.
Listen to that part carefully.
We reach the point in our lives where we can determine our chosen family. Where we can decide our circles of influence and what tables we’re creating and inviting others to join us.
My people will always be the underdogs.
The outcasts with big hearts and even bigger purposes.
The good-natured people who don’t fit any single box and SHINE so bright they’re a star for all to see.
Your story matters.
Create it with care.
You always have a home, here.
