Do You Trust 2 AMGoogle Searches More than Your Inner Wisdom?
The cost of living a superficial life is your voice.
And not necessarily the voice you use in the outside world. But rather, the one you ignore from within.

Think of how old you are today. Assume this is the only life you’ve lived. You’ve been in this body with your spirit, organs, and boogers for exactly that many years. Add yet, let’s reflect.
Who do you talk to at night when no one is around?
Who do you turn to for advice in the absence of other people?
Do you have a rapport with yourself?
Camaraderie?
What is so challenging about trusting ourselves?
We’re given blueprints for our lives. Our blueprints are inside of ourselves. This simply means that if we learn to turn our attention and inner sight inside, with closed eyes, we’ll find the blueprints we’ve already been given.

External blueprints are often a dime a dozen.
Everyone has their 10 steps to do x, y, and even z. The voice inside you that yearns for fast solutions to feel better isn’t always the voice that brings you peace or even wisdom.
The truth is that external blueprints are frequently ones that we throw out like straws. The key to finding strategic support for your dreams is to look for longevity.
Look for steps that are reusable.
Look for steps that support you to understand your own inner blueprint.
This creates self-trust, discernment, and a real sense of inner strength upon which you can rely.
Who do you trust more than yourself? And why?
When your heart tells you where it wants to go, that’s your own inner knowing.
Why, then, are you on Google at 4 AM looking up what Tina Fulana says about the matter?
Who TF is Tina?
“She has 1 million views.”
And why do you care?
“I’m scared. I want answers, now.”
In this state of fear, you would rather someone else make the call for you than make it for yourself.
Arming yourself with insight is wise so you can make strong, empowered decisions.
But searching Google and habitually outsourcing your power is foolish.
It’s panic and it points to a deeper, more insidious cultural habit.
The issue you’re googling isn’t even the problem (i.e. the reason you’re seeking the blueprints or the steps).
The true pain point resides in the following question: Why do you believe other people more than you believe yourself?
Head on over to the podcast to get the full episode, here.
It’s part of our culture to respect people who have achieved success, are intelligent, charismatic, and have gone to reputable schools.
However, cultural criteria for credibility may not be your criteria.
In fact, you may be using the wrong filters entirely to discern who is worth and not worth having as your advisor. And it all goes back to the same question: why and under what circumstances do you trust other people, especially Google, more than you?
You’ve walked x amount of years on this earth.
What do you have to show for it, beloved?
Let your inner voice guide you. Let that speak.
Thanks for being here. Forward this message to a friend who could use the wisdom.
And as always, your voice matters, and who you are is someone with purpose. Believe that and live it as if your life depended upon it. Because it does!
Big hugs,
Lalita
