Ep. 17: Where are your footsteps guiding you?
Hey fam,
We’re back with another episode of Lila! Let’s dive in!
If you don’t know the direction of your feet, how can you be certain they’re pointed at your dreams?
This week I discuss the power of where your “feet” take you; your individual steps in life. I share stories about heartbreaking, modern divorces in France and look at the deeper meaning of what we do versus what we say.
Listen to the full episode here.
It’s easy to get caught up in the narrative we tell ourselves. Such that we believe that what we do supports what we say. That isn’t always true. Because if I say I’m focused on loving you, and I keep lying, and I say lying is my tool to love and protect you, that is incorrect. It’s unskillful.
And yet that’s what we do with our lives. We call blue, black, and say it’s possible to walk to the continent of Africa from New York City. We attach names to stories that are not true and we suffer. We stay. We toil. And our dreams die under the neglect.
I believe in you. I believe in your dreams; that they’re here for a purpose, a reason. And they come to you to dance with you and be a safe haven for growth. So believe in their presence.
As always, thank you for listening and being part of this community. Your presence makes a BIG difference.
Big hugs,
Lalita
