Ep. 13: Psychic Visions and Aussies From Oxford

"Magic is stupid," said no one ever

Do you believe in magic? Juanita does and so do I. In Episode 13 of #AskJuanita, this little Latina gets herself into some social media magic when she discovers that her roommate has channeled her next potential collaboration (or boo boo as she likes to put it). It doesn't hurt that he's a cute Aussie either. Watch the full video below.

Montreal, Quebec, 2016

I declared that 2016 would be the year of magic and inspiration with a focus on deepening relationships and increasing freedom. Little did I expect that the magic would ensue so fast.

Between finding and rescuing a beautiful dog from the freezing cold and having my own world expanded by the possibility of collaboration--in the first week of 2016 alone--I'm feeling a visceral sense of possibility. I'm feeling as if there's magic floating around me and all I need to do is reach out and grab some.

Or maybe realize that we're already pretty magical on our own.

The biggest takeaway from making this episode was expanding my willingness to show the world who i am, in whatever crazy form that may take.

I asked my Facebook friends the other day, because why would I ask my "real" friends, who they were born to be?

Lots of answers and lots of insights.

For me, I'm realizing that "becoming" is less about outward building and more about melting away the layers between me and who I already am

We're already everything we want to be.

It's the belief otherwise, and the toxicity that particular belief cultivates, that keeps up from experiencing the magic of our essence.

Is that a tad woo woo for a Thursday morning?

Maybe.

But I wouldn't have it any other way.
